This seems like a bug to me:

You don't update a text field, if there is a cursor in the field.

Lets pick a random example.

A scroller, in the speed setting
At 1 sec, the speed is 0
At 2 sec, the speed is .5
At 3 sec the speed is 1

Assume the animation is rewound, and I have the cursor in the field where you enter the speed - and press play - the animation plays, but the number in the speed field is not updated - it remains 0.

Or if I don't press play, but press "Next Key" - the animation jumps to the next keyframe, but the value in the speed field is still 0

What I have to do is click somewhere else, and initiate an update before i can see the number.

For instance I then click in the text field where you enter the scroll text, and then i click on "Next Key" - then the number in the speed field is updated.

The scroller was just an example, this seems to happen with many (all of them?)

Surely this isn't by design?
