How do I save one?
Pressing Save Playlist as in the Playlist menu does nothing.
Where can I find information on Playlist? I see nothing in the online manual.

OK I figured it out.
So now I am looking for ways to control the play list via hot keys.

Or in other words, I would like to control the playlist like a sequencer with "play this show then pause and wait for a key to start next show on playlist". At the same time a pause key.

Thank you for your feature requests!

I especially am looking to be able to loop the play back of a show from the play list and have a pause. This way I can link the text to an XML database and pause it after it animates on screen. Then play or release pause and then, since it is in loop, the next field of the XML will animate on screen. Then I can continue pausing or press another hotkey to advance to the next show in the play list. So the loop enable feature would be specific to the show in the play list.

I'm also wishing for more control over playlist functions. Scheduling different playlists by time of day, day of week, ect, and wild cards for special days of the month would also be extremely helpful for signage applications. Some basic transitions between shows would be great.

The idea to have hot keys in general form the playlist editor and from the main controls would be excellent in a live production environment for overlaying sports scores, weather info lower thirds, etc whether data driven from XML files or static. I can imagine having a hot key to pause the loop of certain objects while other objects continue to loop such as backgrounds or logos of lower thirds. Then the paused object would continue to animate/change upon user preference via hotkey to unpause and continue to display the data form the XML source or whatever part of the animation in the timeline.

Maybe there could be a pause insert command in the timeline so the user could insert this much like a keyframe at a certain point and when the show is played it plays that layer to that point, pauses and waits for a keyboard command before continuing.
