NextPreviousHomeHow do I import video ?

I used to be able to import a video layer without a problem. I installed the xvid codec and now when trying to add a video layer it opens up a separate window in windows media player.

What setting do I need to change and what is the path to it ?

Or do I need to uninstall the xvid codec ?

Thanks.

More info about the video layer can be found in the user guide:

Thanks Michiel, I love using Bluff !

I read the article in the user guide.

What is the best way to go about it in my situation ?

Uninstall xvid ? Convert videos to a different format ? If so, what format will work if I keep xvid ? mpeg ?

I would like to keep the xvid codec because I use it for other projects, I have a lot of different avi files that are encoded differently. Most of them would open in Bluff before I started usin the divx/xvid codec. I use Bluff often and would like to convert the avi files to one that will work for sure or somehow get the divx/xvid codec to work in direct show for use in Bluff.

Any more detailed info will be appreciated.

Thank you.
