NextPreviousHomeWriter style effect for images?

I have a client in the construction business that wants me to take his logo of a house and animate it to look like it's being built on the screen. I tried doing a reverse explosion, but that all comes together at once and not what I looking for it to do. Do we have a wipe FX or something of that nature that you can reconstruct an image in lines? Kind of like the WRITER slider does with text.

Is it a simple set of lines?

If so, could you use Bixangelo to create an EPS and use that?

not all jobs are easy.
my advice is.
enter the picture in an image editor, and cut this into pieces.
save after each BMP format.
Now convert each one into an EPS file.
BluffTitler Open and place all EPS.
from now you can play by moving each part or exploit each part at different times.
combine this with flexibildad, rotation, size

It's a color image so EPS won't work, but cutting it up is exactly what I decided to do. I cut the image up in Photoshop and reassembled it in BT as multiple layers. Then I reverse exploded each individual piece altering the speed and timing on the reconstruction. Still tweaking it, but I think this will work.

Thanks for the input guys!

I did this 2 years ago according to the instruction of maitegras, using cutted jpg-picture pieces and reverse explosion.

Your "reconstruct an image in lines" phrase immediately reminded me of this effect:

I went ahead and cut the house out of the graphic to work with the black and white image thinking I might could use it as an EPS file, but that didn't work out so well. I ended up just cutting it into layers and using the reverse explosion, offsetting the timing on each layer.
