Hi.

I'm a Chinese custom and have registered to buy a easy vision for BluffTitler.
In addition, I'm very like this software after using a period of time.

The given code of fx file has a subtle problem, though.
I know UIName is The property name as it wil appear in the GUI ,so I want to replaces the English words string in the UIName string define on related fx file (like CubeMapDDS.fx) with the related Chinese characters, In order to display these Chinese Words on the GUI.

But ,It display some gibberish characters each attempt.

Could you help me to fix it ?

So you want to translate the shaders (the FX files) as well?

Which encoding (character set) would you like to use? I don't think UNICODE will work, maybe UTF-8?

Thank you so much for your response.

I have changed it as you suggest.But,
After save as the fx file into UTF-8 encoding file ,BT indicates an error occurred :

Error loading Effect "CubeMapDDS.fx"
ID3DXEffectCompiler:There were no techniques
ID3DXEffectCompiler:Compilation failed

Then what shall I do?

This is correct. The current version can't handle UTF-8 shaders.

We will implement this in the next version. I will let you know in this gallery when the next version is available!

Version 8.5.0.1 (released today) supports UTF-8 shaders. I would be very interested to see what you can do with this new feature:
