1. How to I make text look like big and thick in 3d??? I am having trouble getting it to be block looking.

2. Is there someway of seeing all the properties of a layer at once. If I go and look at an example show I can not tell what all was done to make the effect. How do I do this.
If I knew how to see this I would be able to find my answer to #1 !

Thanks!

Maybe one of these styles can be described as "block looking":

If you want to see which properties have been touched, go to the SETTINGS > GENERAL OPTIONS dialog and mark the ADD - SIGN TO NON-DEFAULT PROPERTIES checkbox.

Thanks. Okay I set the properties. But where do I see them? If I go to file show properties I don't see anything.
I am getting the 3d now. I found if I put in the number manually it makes it bigger. That is what I need to do. Thanks.

I am refering to the properties that are listed in the dropdown above the 3 sliders.

For example, the text layer has a TEXT POSITION, a TEXT ROTATION and lots of other properties.

A - sign behind the property name indicates that the property has been touched. You can test this by adjusting a property yourself.

Many users find this confusing so it's turned off by default but I think this is exactly what you are looking for.

Ok. That does help. Thank you.

All properties are visible when you open the dropdown.

I tried a few shows and most of them have only touched 3 or 4 props. This means that all the others have the default values: the same values they have when you press the NEW SHOW button.

Once you know which props do the trick you can ignore all the others and it's easy to find out how it works.
