NextPreviousHomeText aliasing

Question not specifically related to V11.

I added a text layer and when I rotate the text I get the following 'aliasing' on the text. Hopefully the dropbox link below works... It is a screenshot directly out of BT. I get the same issue when I export it as a PNG, or export it as a movie..

If this normal, or is there any way to get nice smooth text? I have set the export at the highest level - trying both the shader and software - hightes quality. Some of the demos on the site show really smooth text.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Hi stbo,

A few questions, have you set your show resolution? most people use 1280 x 720 or Full HD 1920 x 1080?

Another thing, under your settings menu, have you selected high quality where it says low, normal and high?

Generally the default resolution for a new file is very low, you can set this by going to the file menu and selecting 'Set Show Resolution'. This is normally the cause of some problems with resolution or alias artifacts.

Let me know how you get on, from the pic it looks as though you are set to a low resolution.

Regards... Bob

Hallo,

besten Dank,

Jörg

Hi,
Unfortunately, the page link is not available.
But I have the same question. Despite set resolution, the font is not smooth enough.
Who has a tip here or linked to the page outerspace-software.com...

Thank you very much,

Jörg

Jörg, have you already tried switching to high or super high quality?

Choose the menu item SETTINGS > HIGH/SUPER HIGH QUALITY.
