The moon is shining, the stars are twinkling and a lonesome boat sails home across the sea...
An animation with the new Water.fx-Effect.
You're a poet Ulli!
I noticed a strange effect on GeForce cards: if you set one of the sliders of the FX WAVE PERIOD property to 0 (as you do in this animation) the water becomes invisible. Setting the property to a non-zero value fixes the problem. On other cards this does not seem to be a problem.

I think your texture makes the water effect look better, how did you create this texture?

I am a poet - oh no, not really, Michiel. :)
A notice to the invisible water: I have an ATI Card and no problems.
The texture is a paper-texture, made with the program "PhotoImpact". There are a lot of textures in this program and you can change the properties for your own projects.

Thanks for the info, I'll take a look at PhotoImpact.
As you know, most FX files work in close collaboration with texture files: the texture is as important as the effect file.
