Step 2: add text boundaries

As the template designer you do not know the length of the final texts. To prevent the texts to fall off the screen or intersect other elements it is important to define the maximum size. You can do this with the Bounds property of the text layer. The bounds can be made visible by pressing <F2>.

Step 3: create the template ZIP file

In BluffTitler choose the menu item File > Export as Template...

Mark the Dynamic checkbox for every element you think template users would be interested in editing. Don't make the mistake to make everything dynamic, this will only scare template users away. Most template users want quick results and are only interested in changing the texts. Special textures like reflection maps and bump maps should never be made dynamic.

Enter a Description for all dynamic elements. If your layer has a name (as set in the Layer > Active Layer Properties... dialog) the description is prefilled with this name.

Mark the Include Fonts checkbox.

Step 4: make a Headsub account

If you are not yet a member, click the Sign up for a new account link in the upper right corner of Headsub's homepage to create an account.

Step 5: upload your template to Headsub

Click the Upload new template link in the upper right corner of Headsub's homepage and follow the instructions.

That's all. Your template is now ready for use!
