The Filmstrip option does not repeat the texture, nor does it allow to export correctly. Is there an error in the software?
Have you tried a default filmstrip image like:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Outerspace Software\BluffTitler\Media\Textures\Explosion01_8x8.png
and set the Filmstrip property to 8 and 8
Because it works fine, export too with the latest version of BT.

aaah I see in your screengrab that you used Texture repeat.
You must use the filmstrip frames property and set this to 5 and 5.
