Markruz, ID Production, SMSgtRod and 19 others like this!
If all testing goes well, we will launch BluffTitler 14.6 and BixPack 33 next week.
The 2 biggest new features of 14.6 are:
-interior map: a super powerful effect that is used extensively in BixPack 33
-shadow maps: this is the most common shadow algorithm used in games. It solves 3 limitations of shadow volumes: transparent textures and morph effects are supported and the camera can stand in the shadow.

Enjoy your weekend while we continue testing!
Wow, the future is here!
If this is 14.6.....what will to be expected form version 15??????
In the meantime enough to play with the new features.

Yes, a city building effect.
Question: must the interiormaps be made out of 36 and squares?
So these interioirs in the link don't work?

Only from the mind of Michiel!!!
It appears that you example uses six room designs that are duplicated across the building shapes. What will be the maximum amount of room designs per shape?
High Five Michiel! Well done!

Thank you all!
IntroChamp, the number of rooms that is stored in the texture can be set with the FX INTERIORS IN TEXTURE property. So the maximum depends on the maximum texture size your graphics card can handle and the resolution you want for every room.
Komies, as is true for all effects, you can use your own textures. Choose MEDIA > Change Texture... to change the texture. So yes, you can use photos of your own apartment 😊 The texture you linked to results into something like this. Yes, many different styles are possible!

@Michiel
Did you have to modify the texture?
Because the BixPack video example uses 36 squares for 6 rooms.
While my example uses 16 squares for 16 rooms, so higher resolution per room, but also more difficult to make.
komies, a year ago
Komies, no I did not have to modify the texture.
The interiormap effect supports 2 ways to define a room:
-6 2D squares (front, right, back, left, ceiling and floor), as BixPack 33 uses. This works great with cartoon and flat design.
-1 3D square, as your example uses. This works great with photos and renders.
