Great show, love the mirror!

At what time in this video can we see it disappear?

Wow all eps?

Excellent show as usual from Vincent. Love the feature of the valves, very steampunk.

Very nice, Vincent

Have you thought about replacing the background standing mirror with a cubemap layer?

Or placing the mirror layer higher in the layer order? (Alt + [ ])

Just trying to help 😁

Thank you all.
Michiel problem can be seen at 12" on the vertical (black) at 58" too, i must verify if it's not a problem with reflection.
Filip, interior of the valves are models, i have created the knobs models all the other parts are sketchs, eps, pics and texts.
Alex, yes i tried to use cubemaps but reflections was not well placed, i tried to move a little mirror (z values) but i didn't solve the problem. i'll try ALT [ or ALT ].

@Vincent the defect can only be seen because you said it, I was so focused on admiring the beauty that I had not even noticed

Franco Aversa, 3 months ago

thank you Franco, to tell the truth I only noticed this little problem once the video was generated.

So you are using multiple mirror layers? That's truly impressive!!!

A DEPTH BIAS prop has been added to the mirror layer in version 14.6.0.4. Thank you for the request!

Thank you very much Ulli et merci Gilbert, ce show n'est pas si compliqué car il est réalisé avec de formes simples (eps carrés, rectangulaires), en plus avec Bixelangelo on peut facilement créer des eps pleins, et des skectchs personnalisés, c'est comme ça que j'ai crée la protection des lampes, encore une fois c'est le choix des textures qui est important (colourmap et reflectionmap), pour le reste, BT s'en charge.
i added a mirror on front panel. Bias depth solved the blinking reflection, there is still a little sparkle of the mirrors during the rotation but I am satisfied with the realism of the whole. Thanks again to Michiel and his fabulous program.
