paula and DaDa like this!

A bouncer and a jumper cartoon physics effect. It's a bit difficult to explain, you really have to see it.

Really neat effect! Is there any way to control the speed of the hops?

amiga, 14 years ago

The speed is fixed, but feel free to edit the effect file to make it suit your needs!

How can I get the "Jumper" text to appear in the middle of the screen right from the start? I am a DJ and use PCDJ JV which allows me to play some video clips in time with the music. I have a song called "Jump Around" and this would be perfect to flash on the screen with the beat but I can't seem to get the text to appear right at the start.

You can do that by setting the POSITION property of layer 4 to (-400,0,400). When you press the PLAY button it wil start jumping in the middle of the screen.

If you want I can add a BPM (beats per minute) property so that you can synchronize the animation with the music.

I cannot get this animation to play

Unzipping and double clicking the .BT file should do the trick.

The bouncer bounces but jumper doesn't move.

Maybe you have not unzipped the files before playing. Simply double clicking the zip file is not enough.

Right-click the zip file and select Extract all to unzip them. Another option is to use a utility like WinZip.

Hi Michiel

Yes, I like to have the BPM (beats per minute) property to sync with music beat. This is a great add-on

Both the bouncer and the jumper effects are now part of the installer. They can be found in the ANIMATION subfolder of the MEDIA / EFFECTS folder.

The bouncer effect has a FX PERIOD property that can be used to sync to the beat.
