In version 8.2.0.1 (released today!) you can set the resolution of your webcam.

Choose the menu item LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD VIDEO CAPTURE LAYER... and a dialog is presented showing all the modes of all webcams attached to your system.

And at any time, for any layer type, you can replace the texture/video by the output of your webcam in the F9 dialog.

The above screenshot is taken from Windows 7, but of course it also works on Vista and XP.

Now that you can access your webcam is there a way to stream youself on a greenscreen live? I would like to test that out with a pre made set and a greenscreen layer.
