Well it's still a work in progress, but some tinkering today gave me an idea to adjust the particle effects slightly, play with bump mapping and make a little show concept.
BTW, this concept actually works for a 3 second intro, which you can see in the link, as I have tried to make the particle system as little reliant on time as possible.
One of the pitfalls of working with particles can be allowing for time for the effect to get going, and to get things rolling, easy if the item is off screen for a while but harder when things need to happen quickly.
Your minimum/maximum particles, emission, and launch speeds can be tinkered with to get you a desired result.....
If you look at other software even hoping to achieve these results this fast, it once again proves BluffTitler's ability to render at astonishing pace scenes which would take ages in other software.
Add to that, in BT you can quickly adapt and make changes, no waiting for test renders and messing around..... and build space scenes and become a big kid again LOL ;)
