The next version of BluffTitler will introduce the water layer.
In this video I am testing the lighting, the floating layers and the procedural foam.
Just thinking out loud:
There is no texture used in this demo, Is it possible to clone the water layer and use a transparant .png with like foam heads.

The current water effect features procedural and texture foam. By using both, the foam texture is only visible at the tops. More realism can be added by using a 360Ëš clouds picture and using this same picture as a reflectionmap on the water.
Choosing between procedural (simulated) and texture (data) is always an interesting one. Clouds can also be generated procedurally. With a clouds layer we could animate clouds, fly through them and don't need an expensive 360Ëš camera!
