Hello,

Is it possible to configure Temp folder in BT on another drive?

C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Roaming\Outerspace Software\BluffTitler\Temp

My C disk is SSD (100GB) and all the time I should delete render temp files.

Maybe suggestion for next version.

Cheers

You can do this yourself.

With SSD it is wise to keep programs on SSd and Data on Hdd for cost purposes.

ID Production, can you confirm that komies' solution works for you?

Just to be clear, If your ssd is getting full, then move your data for diskspace and speed (keep atleast 10% free). Use disk cleanup on a regular basis, if you updated to windows 10 and you don't want back to the previous use the system files option to free even more space.

Make on a large Hdd a folder e.g. DATA
Make in this folder the following subfolders:
Documents
Pictures
Music
Video

Goto C drive (SSd) and goto the documents folder, right click, properties, location and move to new location on Hdd, Do this for all above folders.

If this didn't yield in enough diskspace or you allready did this then you can move the Appdata/roaming folder to the X:data\roaming folder on the Hdd.

Leave the local, and local low folders, these are smaller and will slow your experience of owning a Ssd.

Tip: If shadow copy is not already activated for the data Hdd then do so, since you have enough space, your will be able to goto a previous version of a data file. And or it is easy to backup your data files to another Hdd or Cloud.

Good luck

We using relay fast PC that works real-time with BT. For that reason we use SSD for OS, application and BT shows. Output renders are placed on another HDD. Now we deleting manually temp files from BT. but size of temp files are around 30-40 GB. This happen when you render MP4 files My idea is to put settings of disk cache in preference in BT (size, clean and location). Thanks for suggestion

I wonder why you delete the temp files manually.

Temp files are temporarily files that are automatically deleted after use so there's no need to delete them manually. Only when something goes wrong, a temp file might not be deleted. But it is deleted the next time you start BluffTitler because at startup all temp files older than 1 hour are deleted. So you do not have to worry about them.

Have you already tried Komies' solution?

Try to abort render MP4 after few seconds. Sometimes we don`t need render all show.
