Here's a simple show demonstrating how you can make your text appear over a background.
No need to use a container layer. Simply animate the TRANSPARENCY property of the text layer.
I was saying in another thread that I had to use a Container to get decent transparency if the background was a video. In playing with this demo I realized why I had to do that. When you load a video, by default it's property is "3D in 3D space". If I change that to "Fullscreen in background" then it works perfectly just like this picture background does. Now I know...and so does everyone else!
