Greetings,
I am trying to create a numerical 'counter' function in both accending/decending order. For example: a countdown from 2009 to 1953.
Using Michiel "Clock Coundown" example I see that adjusting the xml file might do the trick....just need alittle help to see if it is possible.

I assume this is for somebody's 57 birthday?
As always there are many solutions: 57 layers, a filmstrip, dynamic content via XML, a dedicated FX,...
When you give me a description of the effect you're looking for I'd be happy to create a mockup.

Perhaps it's for a birthday, maybe mine, but, I not telling...vanity??
The effect I'm after is a digital counter that would smoothy scroll from one digit to the next, or simply snap to it.
Saw the effect on a commerical here in the Netherlands [can't remember what is was about?? but the effect caught my eye...]
So I hope that helps? XML would be great [with a simplified code]....a decicated FX would probably be even better.
The yearly function was only an example.... 3 digits to 10, or?? would offer more options for the user.

Goed excuus om maar eens een avondje TV te gaan kijken :)
Als ik eenmaal het filmpje heb gezien dan zal het geen probleem zijn het na te bouwen.
De voorbeeld show dynamic content\TextAndPicture.BT dat met het installatieprogramma geinstalleerd wordt geeft een voorbeeld hoe je teksten en plaatjes uit een XML bestand kan halen. Op deze manier kan je eenvoudig een slideshow maken waarbij steeds een andere tekst (jaartal?) en foto te zien is.
