Hi Guys,
I don't know if someone else solved in past my need, but the usual problem about (wrong: bixpacks) templates is to extract a clip (or part of them, added), inside them.
Probably my solution is a stupid way.
1) every (wrong: bixpack) template has a lenght
2) note the starting point of the clip inside the template
3) calculate the difference to cut (for example from beginning)
4) open the window about "new total duration in seconds"
5) specify the difference and click on "Remove from beginning" button
6) use the same process to cut other parts of the (wrong: bixpack) template (beginning, end....)
7) now you can apply soundtrack or every thing you want (effects, layers, ...)
8) save the new template with a different name

Accept my apologies, because in the original article I used wrongly the word
"bixpack" instead of "template"
I am a clumsy.

Rather a snarky reply.
I don't understand either. How do you load an entire Bixpack? Bixpack 41 contains 35 templates. How would I load them all at once? Why would I do that when I can just open the template that I want?
I think that you mean that you open a template and you want to cut out part of it - part at the beginning and/or part at the end. Yes, reducing the duration and clicking on "Remove from the beginning" removes the part from the beginning up to where it should start in order to leave the new duration, "Remove from the end" simply removes the part that comes after the new duration. That is what it is supposed to do.
Try setting the duration to longer than the default and you'll see that "Remove from the beginning" and "Remove from the end" are no longer available, obviously.

Please, accept my apologies.
I used the word "bixpack" instead of "template"

@observer,

Now it's clear.

Remove from beginning, and/or from end is not always a good method. It can completely change the course of the show if you cut portions containing keys!!! (which is the most common case) .
