Hi, I'm currently modifying template 28_Videostage3 from BixPackk 44. What codec and format of video is required for the 3 video screens in that show? I tried to access a 1920x1080 mp4 but a red screen was all I got. I can convert my viseo to another format easily.
Does the video need to be the same length as the show?

The length of the video is not important.
If it's a codec issue, it has nothing to do with the template and can easily be tested by:
-choosing FILE > NEW SHOW
-choosing LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD VIDEO LAYER...
What happens when you do this?

Thanks Michiel. I added a video layer in a new show and selected the video. An Active Movie Window opens with the beginning of my video but it doesn't play.
The Show has a Video Plane Layer but it doesn't have content, the text layer is the only Layer that is visible. If I change the Texture and again point to the video nothing changes.

I have had K-Lite Codec Packs installed on my computers for many years. On this computer the current version is 1875, installed in January 2025.

I converted the video to ProRes and that works thanks.
The Particle Layer, 'Party Silhouette', how do I adjust the speed? I've tried Launch Speed, Emission , etc.

I think you're looking for the FX BEATS PER MINUTE (BPM) property. This is used to synchronize the dancers to the music. (layers 11, 12 and 13 of BixPack44\28_VideoStage3)
