No, its not spam :)

The DAZ (Digital Arts Zone), because they are desperate or clever, are making 3 of their programs available for free for the rest of March.

The programs are:

* Hexagon 2
A 3D model editor

* Bryce 7 Pro
A 3D landscape designer and rendering tool.

* DAZ Studio 4 Pro
A 3D figure posing and animation tool.

Given that there is nothing illegal about this and none of these programs are in competition with BluffTitler, I thought it would be ok to inform the regulars of this.

But NOTE WELL: Blufftitler is easy to use and get going, NONE of these 3 programs are in the least bit easy - they have a learning curve going straight up.
You can make great animations and graphics, but you have to put in a large amount of time trying to figure out how it works.

But still, its free for the rest of the month.

The picture is entirely rendered in Bryce.

Head to daz3d.com before the end of March if you want to snap it up.

I doubt they are desparate. I think it's more clever.

They intend to get new customers who will then create a lot of backend sales for the additional content for sale on the site.

Clever marketing.

I don't understand what you are trying to say chespi650, but yes free.

You don't have to buy anything. I downloaded the free stuff and will see if it can produce material i can use with blufftitler - but I need never return to give them any money.

Dear Per, wait until you get addicted, then you return and spend your money in their store. LOL.
My advice for you: start with DAZ Studio first. (the graphic interface of Bryce & Hexagon are awful) make a simple animation with a green background, so you can use this animation in your Blufftitler project with green-screen effect...

Heh, I'm unlikely to get addicted any time soon. Its totally confusing, and a user unfriendly interface.
