How do i add another partical shape to the drop down list ..
I think you are looking for the CHANGE TEXTURE... button. This changes the picture the particle layer is using.
It works best using a white shape on a black background in combination with the NotLightened_Additive.fx effect. You can load this effect by pressing the CHANGE EFFECT.. button.

Thanks .... also is there a way to just have particals without the text... I wanted some pumpkins that i had on a png file to just float out just like the partical efx so i could overlay it on a video.

When you press the ADD PARTICLE layer button, the particle layer is not attached to a (text) layer, but stands on its own.
