Is there any way to switch off the three directional arrows from a selected layer? I find they really get in the way of what I am doing - and I don't need them most of the time (as - at all! ).

Brilliant! Thanks! I knew there had to be a way! I missed that menu item in the settings (well - I thought it referred to the data about the title set up...)
