Carlos Marques, Dani and PiPPi like this!

Here's the answer to the question that goes like this:
-how do I delete the stars?
-how to I remove the background picture?
-how do I kill the flares?
-how do I make the text invisible?

The answer is: delete the layer that draws the stars/background picture/flares/text.

You can select the layer with the dropdown above the PLAY button.

And you can delete the layer by pressing the DELETE ACTIVE LAYER button or by choosing the dropdown menu LAYER > DELETE ACTIVE LAYER.

Easiest way to find the right layer is to:
-select the 1st layer
-press and hold the CONTROL and SHIFT keys
-press the cursor down key until you have found the right layer.

More tricks to quickly find the right layer can be found on this page:

Don't worry about accidentally deleting the wrong layer,

It isn't permanent until you save your show.

And you can always click the UNDO button.

Another way is to make that layer invisible by unmarking the "Visible"-box to the right. This way you can keep the layer with the show until it is 100% ready. Like "just in case..." This is from experience :)

As the BT-files themselves are basically very small text scripts, keeping a few invisible layers in a show does not really affect the size of the BT-file.

I don't think I can explain it any better. Which of the above steps do you have trouble understanding?
