Do you mean Dynamic content?

Also look in your installer shows folder DynamicContent to see how it works.

Thank you komies but the link is difficult to understand . I need the code in xml (dynamic content) for video not pictures. That is not in the installer folder

Would an NLE not be better suited for this task, I assume that the video's don't have the same length.

If you are hell bent to do it in BluffTitler you could try the playlist and make for every video a show.

There's no special tag or property to store video URLs in an XML file.

Enter a URL of your video and BluffTitler will happily play it.

All layer types can play video textures. The GUI makes a distinction between a picture layer and a video layer, but technically they are the same thing.

To help fellow artist Chaver I looked into it a bit further before answering.

If I understood the question right, then this is what Chaver was asking: To make a dynamic slideshow from separate videos.

I never used Blufftitler in this way, so I made a quick test with the DIR:X:location of videos as texture location which work with pictures but not with video.

Then I used the show DynamicTextandPicture and edited the example.xml to the video locations. This did show the first video but not the second or third because video loops in Blufftitler.

Is the NLE or Playlist to make separate videos or shows and stick them together not the fastest and easiest way?

Oh, wow! So you are not only using XML to dynamically update video textures, but also use multiple loops *and* want to change the video texture for every loop. Chaver and Komies, I must say I am impressed by your technical wizardry. I really would like to see more of your work in this community.

In the current version, you can set the video texture through XML, but you can't update it in a next loop because of the "videos always start playing from the beginning of the show" rule. So the video continues playing at the start of a new loop: it is not restarted or updated.

If you need different behavior, please let me know. Again, videos of your projects (digital signage?) posted in this community will be much appreciated. This will give us a better understanding of your needs. Thank you!
