Great technique!
I noticed that you have animated the 2nd slider of the FX TEXTURE POSITION prop. Another way would be to animated the 3rd slider of the ROTATION prop. Have you considered this? Or didn't that work in the full animation?

Michiel, I used it UVModifier.cfx, no UVMapper.cfx .
