I recently upgraded to the pro version and today I'm looking for all the shows that came with my original download (Text, light, plasma, etc effects) and none is there. What happened? And where can I get them again?

Maybe you have installed the new version into a different location.
When you choose FILE > OPEN SHOW... a standard Windows file dialog is presented that allows you to load shows from any location on any drive. This way you can move to the new location.
Another option is to choose SETTINGS > RESET ALL SETTINGS.
