Here's a trick how you can add some padding: attach the sketch to an invisible copy of the text layer (apply the INVISIBLE effect) using a bigger stroke (use the STROKED style and the STROKE prop). This way the sketches do not penetrate the borders.

I gather most of the textures from the internet except for the wood with screws ("CRATES" body) which comes from Filter Forge 8.0 (filter name : thin wood pane ).
