I've tried to output a show containing a video clip with a black background. I'd like to get a separated alpha channel file from this show.
The viewalphachannel effect doesn't work in that case. It seems that we can't have separated alpha channel outputs if it contains a video clip.
The result I get is a completely white output, I thought I could get an output with white zones corresponding to black parts of the clip.
Black is something else than transparent.
You can use the chroma key effect to make black transparent:
