how to bring back icons from my shows to be visible
and if is it possible to add already few vectors adding them to new container and how to?

To use a file dialog with thumbnails, unmark the USE STANDARD WINDOWS FILE DIALOG checkbox in the SETTINGS > OPTIONS... dialog.

To add a vector layer to a container layer:
-make the container layer the active layer
-click on the ADD VECTOR LAYER... button
-answer YES in the dialog
