Inspired by Thor5ten's 3D Clockwork Generator Tool ( outerspace-software.com... ) here's an attempt to write a text with 2 gears.
To make the letters fall on the gear teeth, I've used a monospaced font (Courier New) and fine tuned the SPACING, SPACE WIDTH, TEXT POSITION, TEXT ROTATION, CHARACTER ROTATION, TEXT SIZE and BOUNDING BOX props. I also had to type the text of the other gear backwards.
In hindsight, it had been easier to simply use a separate text layer for every letter ๐๐
