Is there a way to have text in a template auto resize to fit a specific area/box or maybe have text wrap?

Yes! Use the BOUNDS property. BOUNDS stands for boundaries.

Press F2 to visualize the bounds.

OK, Thanks Michiel. I was trying to use 'Justify' and 'Fixed Space'

Aha , learning something new today. What is the 'Justify' and 'Fixed Space' for then ?

Justify scales all lines to the same width.

And with fixed space, all characters use the same space no matter their size.

Try those styles with a text layer with 2 or more lines and it will be clear immediately!
