michiel, Rorysee, Ilja and 2 others like this!
I am currently using BT to create promos for a one of our products. The product takes many forms, and could be considered a category. We have: Banners, Roll-up Banners, Flags, Brochures, Bookmarks, etc. for this product.
So far, we have been able to mock almost anything with BluffTitler, but one thing we have not tried, which is Roll-up/Retractable banners. I did look briefly into maybe getting a 3d model from Sketch Fab, but would love to be able to build something with BT.
I am sharing a trifold we build with BT to give an idea of the simplicity of the things we do.
For the roll-up, we will need to:
1. Be able to create a base. that resembles the ones we sell. Not identical of course, but similar.
2. Be able to show the back and the pole on the back. The pole should be a separate piece. The pole for this product is three pieces that assembles into one, but there is no need to show the three parts (which are connected by an internal cord). I can show the pole as a unit on the animation.
3. Be able to retract the banner inside the metal base.
Based on your experience, do you think this is possible with just BT?
Thanks for your help!
Kindly
Michiel, about unfold do you thing it would be possible in sketch to add a prop which unfolds the sketch (all angle=180°) ?
(in my example for technical reasons it was impossible to exceed 160°)

Michiel,
Your help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!! 🙏🙏
I will certainly study the show, but good to me as is. Showing the back is a +, but in reality I use the mockups to call attention. In a time where there is so much noise, we need something that can give us an edge.
Again, thanks!

Yes michiel, in my video i use this trick and i compensate increasing pen size but when you are near 0 skecth quality is bad and when size=0 impossible to have a real straight line
