Here's a simple animated roll-up/retractable banner.
The picture is animated by using a colour map layer, but of course you can also use a static PNG or JPG: select layer 16, choose MEDIA > CHANGE TEXTURE... and select a picture with an aspect ratio of 1:2. For example 1000 x 2000 pixels.
