Yousef likes this!

The following option was added in Version 8.4.0

MERGING SHOWS
By pressing CONTROL M you can merge the current show with another one. This way you can easily reuse (parts of) shows.

Would it be possible to add a dialog for a time offset? and have the merged show added at that offset?

It would make the merge feature much more powerful and useful if that was possible.

Maybe inserting time (with the INSERT TIME button) before merging with the next show can do the trick!

Thanks for the suggestion, Michiel.

That would work in certain situations.

But what if you need to merge one show at a certain point within a show.

You'd then need to go and create a special version for insertion at that point, and then come back to the main show and merge.

A bit of a messy interface that way.

Merging with an offset would allow us to build libraries of sub-shows and merge them easily and make our use of BluffTitler much more efficient.

I suggested it to Vincent for his container tool and he implemented it in that.

Hopefully, it could be considered for a future enhancement to BluffTitler.
