Hi BT Peeps

A quick attached show for the community, demonstrating the simplicity of using an effect such as...

V11_ReflectiveFloor_ReflectionMap_Additive_BlackHole.cfx

...to create a shutter like background for a simple show.

The plasma layer can be changed to give a different fill effect on the background shutters (try horizontal lines for instance) and also the colour.

Never underestimate the power of simplicity, as Michiel previously mentioned in another post there is in fact a TON of stuff BT is capable of with built in effects and textures.

I have not understood what the image without texture that is inside the container is.

Hi Franco

It's basically an empty picture layer but if you press F9 you will see that it contains the effect which creates the background shutters.

(The container layer isn't particularly necessary but I use them when creating shows in case I want to shift things easily)

It demonstrates that you don't have to use any textures or reflection maps or indeed text placements to achieve this effect.
