Thank you Decentralized and Michiel. That thought about strange rituals occured to me, too, especially in the beginning. Later on we see, that they are as awkward as human beings knitting new bonds. Animation blending was super helpful and produced some nice motions that weren't added in the beginning - so to speak, it breathed life into the two.
