For this experiment I used Arial Black because all characters in the word TANGENT were angular except the G in the middle. That gave me the contrast of a few long, lines extending from most of the letters, and the many short, fine lines surrounding the curved letter G.
Other fonts give very different, very interesting effects depending on the thickness of the stroke and the curve or angularity of the shape. This will be a very useful effect for my projects.
The reflection texture on the text was made in Photoshop using overlapping black to white gradients in difference mode with a jagged curve applied.
This is very good, indeed....I may be able to use this effect in one of my productions....I thank you very much for your excellent efforts on this...
