Here's a question that is asked a lot by e-mail:

How do I play a BixPack template?

Short answer

Choose FILE > OPEN SHOW...

Long answer

There is nothing special about a BixPack template. It's a BluffTitler show file. A file with the extension BT.

Opening a BixPack template works exactly the same as opening a template that comes with the installer, a template that you have created yourself or a template that a friend has sent you by e-mail.

Here's how to do it:
1 start BluffTitler
2 choose the menu item FILE > OPEN SHOW...
3 move to the location where you have placed the template
4 double click on the template

Step 3 is important because you can place your templates anywhere you like. There is no special place where all BluffTitler templates should be stored. You can place them anywhere you like.

As you can see in the screenshot, I store my BixPacks in the D:\Media\BluffTitler\BixPack\ folder. But it's perfectly okay to store them anywhere else.

BluffTitler features its own file dialog. If you are confused by this and would like to use the standard Windows file dialog, choose SETTINGS > OPTIONS and mark the USE STANDARD WINDOWS FILE DIALOG checkbox.

The file dialog now looks like this.
