The fun starts with cameras with depth sensors. This way you can create displacementmaps of the faces of your friends (or anything else) as easy as taking a photo!

@michiel... could that be done from any Anaglyph photo.

I have made 3D Anaglyph's using my DSLR taking two shots
displaced about ½ inch (12) mm.
