I have been going thru the tutorials in Bluff and am wondering what is a 'Preset'?
Choose LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD PLASMA LAYER... and you see presets.
Edit the plasma layer, choose PRESET > SAVE PRESET AS... and your own preset can be selected next time you create a new plasma layer!
