When I Control +W my screen flashes. What is it doing?
This is a shortcut for the menu item SETTINGS > MOVE MENU. It moves the dropdown menu from the render window to the tool window and back.
It is used for realtime applications where the show is played fullscreen on a second monitor, like for example a digital signage screen on a town square.
In this situation you also want to disable the browser mode: choose SETTINGS > BROWSER MODE.
