Franco, just like the POSITION prop, the PUPIL DISTANCE prop of the camera layer is in world units. So this not only depends on the distance between your eyes (6.4 cm in my case) but also on the size of the world.
A practical way could be to temporarily place an avatar in the world, match the size with the world and measure the distance between the eyes by placing 2 text layers on the eyes and comparing the POSITION prop values.
But a bigger, less realistic value is probably more fun to watch.

Smartphones are ideal tot watch 3d indeed considering their screen size. Personnaly I Prefer micro disparity and use the free VLC program tot see 3D movies using freeviewing
