Hello Friends

I have a question about looping a video.

For example, Show > Water > Alternative_Chocolate.bt
This show is 12 seconds in total.
Deletes all keyframes at the camera layer position.
Then, I think that it is the function of water.cfx that causes the movement in the show.

In this state, export the video in MP4. (Uncheck "Include last frame")

Looping a MP4 video exported in this way does not be as seamless as BluffTitler's bt.

There are other flag and wave shows, what do I need to set to loop the exported video?

Regards

The water simulation is deterministic so in theory it could be made looping. However, in the current implementation there's no functionality to make it looping. Thank you for your request!

The flag simulation is not deterministic so this is unfortunately impossible to make looping.

A simple trick to loop any show is to make all non-looping elements invisible at the end and the beginning. For example with a fade or by moving them out of view by rotating/moving the camera.

Thank you for your reply

I want to loop a video created with Bluff titler on my website.
As you know, if you want to embed a video on your website, you need to reduce the size of the video. I think it will be easier to handle if the user can specify the number of seconds to loop the video.
I'm looking forward to implementing this feature.

The attached photo is Show > WavingFlag > WavingFlagLesson2.

As you say, the movements of the Layer 9 flag, which is a copy of Layer 8, do not match. I thought it was the result of pursuing realistic flag movements. But unfortunately, I also understand that this is the reason why loop playback is not possible.

You made me a suggestion to achieve a natural loop playback with the movement of the camera layer. So I came up with the idea, is it possible to introduce a value like the initial value that starts the movement of the flag?
For example, for 0.3 seconds or 0.5 seconds, the initial value A is that the flag is hanging, and the initial value B is that the flag is quietly fluttering to the side.
If I could add this initial value to the keyframes at the beginning and end of the video, I feel like I'm getting closer to seamless flag loop playback.
Of course, if the flag moves a lot, it will be an unnatural movement of the flag, but if you export it several times, someday ...
It is an easy proposal for amateurs.

As an alternative to the waving flag layer, you can use a picture layer and apply the Picture\WavingFlag effect. This can be made looping by setting the FX PERIOD prop to the duration of the show.

Oops!
I'm very interested.
I'll give it a try.
Thank you for your advice

Another trick that sometimes works is to render the clip, then in your video editor add the same clip after your clip so that you have 2 copies on the timeline. Then reverse the 2nd clip. The first frame will be the same as the last frame and the 2 middle frames will be the same.
Should be seamless for the water and flag shows.

@lightads

So that's it!
I was only thinking about how to create everything with Blufftitler.
I can do it right away if the method you suggested.
Thank you for teaching me.
