Tintin, LostBoyz, Adonhiram and 12 others like this!

In version 16.6, choose FILE > EXPORT AS MODEL... and your BluffTitler show is exported as an animated 3D model in the GLB format!

This is a ✨️VERY✨️ powerful feature that practically turns BluffTitler into a 3D modelling app. Here are a few things you can do with the generated model:
-Publish on your computer
-Publish on your website
-Publish on stock sites
-Import in 3D modelling apps
-Import in BluffTitler
-Import in photorealistic renderers

In the screenshot you can see a BluffTitler show exported as GLB and imported in Blender. I have no idea how to build such a scene in Blender, but I can do it in BluffTitler in 5 minutes!

The camera layer is also exported. Not all GLB players use this info, but this one does. It happily plays the BluffTitler camera animation after selecting the camera in the upper right corner:

The GLB format is much simpler than the BT format. As a result, not all BluffTitler effects can be exported as GLB.

This can be confusing because advanced features like animated 3D models work, but simple things like animating the COLOUR prop do not.

Dear Michiel and BluffTitler Team,

Thank you so much for the incredible new feature of exporting shows as animated 3D models in GLB format! This is a game-changer for BluffTitler users and opens up a whole new world of creative possibilities.

I'm already excited to start experimenting with this feature and creating amazing 3D animations, characters, and objects. The ability to publish these models on my website, stock sites, and even import them into other 3D modeling apps is truly groundbreaking.

I'm particularly impressed with how easy it is to use this feature. Even though I'm not a 3D modeling expert, I was able to create a complex scene in BluffTitler in just a few minutes, something that would have taken me hours in Blender.

This new feature is a testament to the ongoing innovation and development of BluffTitler. I'm so happy to be a BluffTitler user and look forward to seeing what other amazing features you have in store for us in the future.

Thank you again for this incredible update!

Dear Michiel,

This is HUGE ! You are proving again that Blufftitler is and always has been so much more than a "titling software" (hell, in 2008 I was able to import a space shuttle 3D model, add a blue plasma trail to it and animate it to make it land in a real life parking in a video I made, this is the power of Blufftitler). Big big thanks and congratz !

Here a little gift for your team and you to thank you all for the incredible versability and flexibility of our favourite "titling software" lol.

Thanks again and bravo,

Adon

> Incredible <

Thank you so much !!

Now BluffTitler can be integrated with many things,
I tried it in Blender and this news is exceptional,
camera animations can also be used.
An incredible job. Thanks to all the Outerspace staff.

I saved an animation from BluffTitler, edited it in Blender and reloaded it
in BluffTitler. At the memory level there is a difference in having all the objects in a single GLB animation or it doesn't matter, it's like having the original objects that were contained before turning into GLB? I'm just asking out of curiosity for the possibilities of using this system.

Thank you all!

Franco, memory use can differ, especially when elements like meshes, materials and animations are used multiple times, but I would not worry about that. Every app has its own internal memory structures and opportunities for optimization. What's important is that you can dramatically simplify the show by replacing hundreds of layers by a single model layer.

Thanks Michiel,

that's what I meant, that is, having many objects and animations in one level
and with the possibility of interacting on multiple programs.
The possibility of online player is also very interesting.
An incredible job. Thank you Michiel.

Super WOW you can apply all filters for "picture"

on GLB animations getting amazing stuff!!
