Ulli, chaver, Decentralized and 5 others like this!

GLB is a powerful format, but animation is limited to translation, rotation, scale and morph targets. This make it impossible to export many of the effects BluffTitler has to offer.

But with clever tricks, you can do more than expected. Here's a proof of concept to see if it's possible to use skinning to export an animated sketch layer (WRITER prop).

Skinning has been developed to animate avatars, but it turns out it can also be used to animated our sketch layers!

A new version featuring this technique is being prepared for launch.

It's great, if this continues you will succeed in making all the effects of Blufftitler work 😉

Thank you all!

Liuyongcai, the "GLB converted format" is invalid, but when you download the "Original format" it works fine. It looks like the Sketchfab model parser does not understand this trick. We will inform Sketchfab about the issue. Hopefully they will find a way to fix it. Otherwise we will have to forget about exporting animated sketches. It's strange because their web player has no trouble with it.
