Tintin, Ilja, xinyi and 5 others like this!
A trick to make your video more intimate is to have your character look into the camera.
With the V17 version of the Model\Bix effect you can do this by dragging the 2nd slider of the FX PUPIL SIZE, LOOK INTO CAMERA prop all the way to the right.
This only works with the Models\Bix model that comes with the installer. Maybe we can find a way to automate this with all humanoid models!

that's interested, maybe to lookup what I Clone have for that, I found solution there while rendering, would like to help at least will sniff around and pot some data if useful!

i Clone Eyes to Camera
To ensure your character's eyes maintain eye contact with the camera in iClone, follow these steps:
Create a character and a camera: Set up your character and the camera in iClone.
Animate the camera: Direct the camera's view to the character's position.
Adjust the character's look at the camera: Use the "Look at Camera" button in the Modify panel to make the character look at the camera.
Fine-tune the look: Adjust the detail settings to refine the character's eye contact with the camera.
For a detailed tutorial, you can refer to the iClone 8 Eyes Control Tutorial on YouTube, which provides step-by-step instructions on how to control the eyes of your character to look at the camera.
Maybe that helps somehow!

It would be great to have a target layer, the eyes could track a specific layer not just the camera.

Thank you bambamD and Vincent for your suggestions!
Realize that not all models use separate, rotatable submodels for the eyes. And when they do, the eyes can point to the +X,-X,+Y,-Y,+Z,-Z or any other direction. The lack of standardization makes this unnecessarily complicated.

The Effects\Model\EZ effect has also been updated with an FX PUPIL SIZE, LOOK INTO CAMERA prop. This one is for the Models\EZ model.

I understand that each model is different, i was thinking this only for Bix.cfx and EZ.cfx
