vincent, GreenfishPete, Ulli and 12 others like this!

Next version of BluffTitler will have a system that can make just about everything move to the beat - fully automatically.

In this video you can see 6 examples of the new possibilities:
1) a 3D text jumping to the beat
2) a pounding speaker
3) a VU meter
4) a 2D spectrum analyzer
5) a 3D spectrum analyzer
6) a particle layer synced to the beat

We are very careful not to harm BluffTitler's simplistic GUI. Plan is to fully control all the new features with new shaders. With a bit of luck no new GUI elements are necessary.

For example by applying the new SpectrumAnalyzer.fx effect to a picture layer, it is turned into a spectrum analyzer, automatically connected to the audio layer.

We are currently testing the new features and hope to launch the new version soon (free upgrade). If you have any questions or feature requests, now's the time to ask!

3 in 1 question/feature request based on what I'm seeing it do in the demo: Will you be able you

1- Control the amount of influence the effect has speaking in terms of range of motion
2- Adjust the direction/rotation in which the influence is applied
3- Adjust the motion like applying splines to the layer so instead of bouncing off the peeks, the element rolls off them.

I ask this as one question because if the new effect can do these things combined, we can use vocal tracks to make elements in the shows talk. Like applying the effect to the lower jaw of the talking football I recently shared so it moves like the VU Meter in the demo. That would be wicked cool.

That actually brings up a second question though. Will it be able to be applied to a Container?

Awesome effect rather it can or can't do these things anyway! Great job, THANKS!
