Today, BixPack 44 | Stage Lights has been launched!

This new pack explores the possibilities of the robotic arm layer with moving heads.

The rigged models are animated with forward/inverse kinematics and their light beams are brought to life with the new beam pattern properties.

Other new techniques that this new pack explores include:
-QR codes generated by picture, vector & sketch layers
-detailed lighting trusses generated by the Special\WireframePlus effect

Template designer Markruz did a truly excellent job getting the most out of the latest new features of BluffTitler!

Looks great but i don't understand " This new pack explores the possibilities of the robotic arm layer ". Are spotlights models afded in a container attached to arm or a new type of arm ? Thanks in advance for informations.

Vincent, the moving heads are robotic arms with 3 limbs and 2 DOF (degrees of freedom):

If Stage Lights can be combined with Drones, then the results can be absolutely pleasing.
Good work.

PiPPi, the 3D models of BixPack 44 have been created in Cinema 4D.

Most moving heads use the AdvancedMaterials\ColourmapCubemap effect. This effect accepts 3 textures. The 1st is a colourmap that is used for the colours and logos. The 2nd is a DDS cubemap and is used for the reflections. The 3rd is used as a specularmap: white means specular, black means no reflections. This 3rd texture can be used to apply the DDS cubemap only to parts of the model.

For more info, choose MEDIA > Change effect...

When experimenting with your own textures: make a copy of the 1st texture, edit it in a paint app and load it in the 1st texture slot.
